Who I am and why I make cosmetics

My name is Alena Tofil. I develop colour cosmetics, I don't just pick ready-made products, I create formulas: I work on texture, wear time, and how pigment behaves on the skin.

Everything you see in this store is born in Kyiv. That is a matter of principle for me: I want Ukrainian cosmetics to be not merely "as good as imported" but independent, with its own character and its own solutions.

My work is closer to a laboratory than to a beauty chair. I test, rework, and test again. I do makeup primarily for research and education, to see how a formula behaves in real conditions, and to share that knowledge with other artists.

I will gradually fill this journal with real stories: about the products, the approach, and why every shade here is a separate product. Thank you for reading.
